Maya Durham is a rising 2L at the University of New Mexico School of Law. Prior to joining UNMSOL, she interned at the House of Representatives, the Second Judicial District Attorney's Office, and was a student participant in the 2020 ACLU Student Advocacy program. After receiving her bachelor's degree, Maya worked as a paralegal and law clerk, gaining extensive experience in medical negligence, wrongful death claims, and § 1983 claims arising out of New Mexico's prisons and jails. She is interested in civil rights, criminal defense, and appellate advocacy.
