We are happy to announce that Jeneva Kame Parks has been promoted to Associate in the Tempe office.  

Jeneva R. Kame Parks (she/ella) was born and raised in Tucson, Arizona. She is a descendant of the Huachichil Nation, and is also of Danish and Japanese descent. Jeneva graduated summa cum laude from the University of Arizona James E. Rogers College of Law in 2023, where she received a dual J.D./M.A. in Indigenous People's Law and Latin American Studies. 

After earning an undergraduate degree in Latin American Studies from Smith College, Jeneva went on to work as an early childhood educator where she focused on developing anti-bias curriculum for young children. It was the combination of these efforts and her involvement in community advocacy that led her to apply to law school. 

During law school, Jeneva served as Vice-President of NALSA chapter, carried out extensive research on treaty rights and tribal co-management of resources on federal lands for the Tribal Justice Clinic, and supported the United Nations Special Rapporteur on the rights of Indigenous Peoples through the school's International Human Rights Advocacy Workshop. She will begin a clerkship for Judge Roopali Desai of the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals in the fall of 2024.
